Qordis is een jonge non-profit organisatie, inspelend op de groeiende vraag naar applicatie gebaseerde oplossingen in de medische sector

‘Labwaarden’ is een app voor en door clinici om op de werkvloer op een juiste en makkelijke manier laboratoriumuitslagen te kunnen interpreteren. Belangrijke en veelgebruikte labwaarden worden besproken. Hierbij komen naast interpretatie van een afwijkende labwaarde ook zaken zoals valkuilen en beperkingen aan bod en wordt ter verdieping achtergrondinformatie gegeven. Als ondersteuning bij het kiezen van de juiste labbepalingen worden ‘labcombinaties’ zoals een anemie, de ijzerstatus en de Addison-crisis uitgelegd. Tevens zijn calculators toegevoegd aan de app waarmee bijvoorbeeld een gecorrigeerd calcium of anion gap berekend kan worden.

For the National Dutch Championship in Kubb, I created software to keep track of all concurrent games.

The difficulty with kubb is that a game does not have a set duration, therefore it is hard to keep track of which teams are 'available' to play a 'next round'.

The software enabled the organisation to enter scores remotely from the playing-fields, the system then calculated which games should be played next. Giving insights in, which games are taking to long (and are a bottle-neck for the rest of the tournament) which games have been or should be announced by the speaker, etcetera.

This 'wind-clock' displays windspeed an winddirection.

Weather information comes from the Dutch Weather Institute and is pushed frequently to the clock.

Making use of Particle Photon, AWS and Serverless.

Inspired by the increasing negativity towards train-conductors (because of late/broken trains), I made a little thank-you card for them stating that it's not fair that they receive al the complaints for things they are not responsible for. I made thousands of them and distributed them on trains and stations.

The reactions of train-conductors (via e-mail) were great and showed that they really appreciated the action.
